Tendencies A Personality Perspective

About TENDENCIES

The Continuum of your Corporate Personality

TENDENCIES believes that all people can CONSCIOUSLY bring value to others around them or to different situations they find themselves in; thus, can modify and adapt their specific persona accordingly.   In theory, people could move back and forth along a personality trait continuum at will pending the circumstance.   However, people often run into conflict situations with others because of their subconscious comfort zones (i.e. tendencies that come natural to them).

Understanding the beauty of their natural tendencies is important; understanding their situational limitations is imperative.

Conflict can and does inhibit corporate capacity, growth and productivity.   Corporations, organizations and businesses who truly understand the nature of their staff’s individual and collective personalities, and more importantly understand how to best work with those tendencies will be better positioned for overall success versus those who do not.   It is an investment with long lasting returns.

TENDENCIES, like all personality models on the market today are derivatives in one form or another of the 1920's work of Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud and lessor known (but just as important) Gordon Allport. Since then, a myriad of models around the world have been developed each with their own unique characterization of the human persona using the early work as their foundation. However, the large majority of modern models focus on the individual alone.

Through researching, consulting, facilitating, and coaching within the Canadian workplace over decades using a variety of personality models; TENDENCIES was developed - combining some of the best attributes of many of the other systems but extending the individual modelling into a collective perspective truly making it a Corporate personality system.
